Sound Engineer
I have been in the technical entertainment business for about 25 years.
My background in sound encompasses live sound for theatre and musical productions, to television and studio sound. For almost 9 years, I was in a managerial role responsible for running the FOH sound console in a 900+ seat theatre space working with diverse cultural performers from all over the world. I worked with a 9 piece orchestras, singers on wireless headset mics, mixing live performers with recorded tracks all professionally in sync through show control and click tracks.
I have also worked freelance for many years in the Ottawa and London, Ontario as a sound engineer, audio visual technician and stage hand. Involved for many years setting up sound, lights, video and staging equipment for bands and speakers for corporate events.
I am currently working full-time for a performing arts venue in Alberta, Canada and I love it!
